Today, our students celebrated International Picnic Day by enjoying the great outdoors, sharing smiles, and making special memories together. There’s nothing better than fresh air, good friends, and a picnic-filled day of fun and laughter!

🦀🌊 VIBE Ocean Adventures! 🌊🦀

Our Freshmen Campers dove into an ocean-themed literacy and art experience by reading A House for Hermit Crab by Eric Carle! As we explored the story, campers learned about hermit crabs, their unique homes, and the creatures they encounter beneath the sea.

After story time, our young artists brought their learning to life by creating their own clay hermit crabs! Using air-dry clay and noodles, campers designed and decorated unique shells while expressing their creativity and strengthening fine motor skills.

This hands-on activity combined literacy, imagination, and artistic expression, making learning both meaningful and fun! 🐚✨

🐚🎨 Our Suite #400 Seashell Art Fun! 🎨🐚

Our Suite #400 artists explored the beauty of the beach through a creative Seashell Art activity! Using a variety of seashells, children traced, drew, and observed the unique shapes and patterns found in nature.

As they worked, they strengthened their fine motor skills, creativity, and observation skills while learning about different shell designs. To complete their masterpieces, students added details and lines to make their artwork look just like real seashells!

What a wonderful way to combine art, nature, and imagination! 🌊✨

Our Suite #350 friends had a wonderful time during Create Together: Elephant Trunks! 🐘🎨

Using socks, gray paint, and their creativity, our little artists explored the unique features of elephants while creating their very own elephant trunks. As they painted and designed, children learned new vocabulary words like elephant and zoo, while expressing their artistic preferences by sharing what they liked most about their creations.

This engaging activity supported our Creative Development goals by encouraging self-expression, imagination, and meaningful conversations about art. We love seeing our young learners explore the world around them through hands-on experiences and creativity!

🌊🪼 VIBE Ocean: Jellyfish Design Lab! 🪼🌊

Our Summer Campers combined creativity, engineering, and environmental awareness during today’s Jellyfish Design Lab! Using recycled plastic bottles and a variety of art materials, campers transformed everyday items into beautiful jellyfish models while learning about the importance of protecting our oceans.

As they designed and constructed their jellyfish, students explored how pollution affects marine ecosystems and discovered ways they can help keep our oceans clean. Through this hands-on STEAM activity, campers practiced problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking while bringing their unique ocean-inspired creations to life.

At VIBE Ocean, learning goes beyond the classroom—encouraging our campers to become innovative thinkers and caring environmental stewards! 💙♻️🐠

☔🎉 Rainy days can’t stop the fun at Kids ‘R’ Kids Katy! When the weather kept us indoors, Champs Express brought the excitement with an action-packed day of indoor games and activities!

From high-energy races to endless laughter, our campers embraced every moment with enthusiasm and teamwork. The energy was contagious as friendships grew, confidence blossomed, and unforgettable memories were made.

These are the moments that make summer camp so special—creating joyful experiences, building connections, and making memories that last a lifetime.
