Franz Elementary Firebirds

All this week, these Firebirds were doing amazing STEM builds, engineering al kinds of vehicles and contraptions, coding robots and so much more at the Robert Shaw Center during their "Everyday Heroes" STEM Camp. Durante toda esta semana, los "Firebirds" realizaron increíbles proyectos STEM en el Centro Robert Shaw, como parte de su campamento STEM "Héroes cotidianos" (Everyday Heroes); allí diseñaron todo tipo de vehículos y artefactos, programaron robots y mucho más. ¿Sabías que Katy ISD ofrece tantos programas fantásticos durante el verano? Please join us in giving a warm Firebird welcome to Ms. Christina Halbot, who joins the Firebird nest as new Assistant Principal. Ms. Halbot joins us through a Leadership Exchange from Rhoads Elementary, where she has been serving as an Assistant Principal for the last few years. She brings a strong leadership background, a genuine love for children, and a commitment to doing whatever it takes to support students and staff.
We are thrilled that she is returning to the nest. She actually began her teaching career at Franz Elementary as a 3rd grade teacher! Once a Firebird, Always a Firebird...welcome back to the nest, Ms. Halbot! We are thrilled you have you on our FES Administrative Team!

Por favor, acompáñennos a dar una cálida bienvenida "Firebird" a la Sra. Christina Halbot, quien se une a nuestro nido como nueva subdirectora. La Sra. Halbot llega a nosotros a través de un programa de intercambio de liderazgo proveniente de la Escuela Primaria Rhoads, donde se ha desempeñado como subdirectora durante los últimos años. Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

As we gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, Katy ISD pauses to reflect on the courage, service and legacy of our fallen heroes.

Here's a sneak peek at the makings of a graduation setup...these PTA moms were still at it after 5 pm today, getting our gym ready for our 5th grade graduates. Their dedication, along with their joy is apparent in everything they do! Thank you Franz Elementary PTA for helping make tomorrow magical for our graduates and their families!
