Kennesaw State University earned the most grants of any state institution in the latest round of funding from Affordable Learning Georgia (ALG). The seven awards total nearly $80,000 to reduce class materials costs for students.

Did you watch the Golden Globes Awards last night - it was historic!
Chloé Zhao made history as the first Asian woman to win Best Director at the Golden Globes for her film 'Nomadland.' The film, starring Frances McDormand, also won Best Motion Picture - Drama. A woman hasn't won Best Director since Barbra Streisand won for 'Yentl' in 1984.
Zhao also directed Marvel's upcoming film 'Eternals,' slated for November 2021.

Korea Study Abroad trip July 2021- application deadline is March 1
The deadline for applying for the Study Abroad trip to Korea in July 2021 is 1st March. It is called Multi-disciplinary Students in Korea, and is suitable for Business, Asia, and Psychology majors. Other majors may be able to do the courses offered for electives. The trip lasts 4 weeks and costs $1575 plus air fare and food.
