An honor and privilege to work along side Matthew Workman with National Concerts at Carnegie on February 16th. This is concert #2 with National Concerts at Carnegie. We are prepping for two April shows in Washington DC (Strathmore) and back in NYC later that month. (Photo from pre-concert rehearsal)

Our first "Official Selection” viewing will be taking place next month, at the Central Michigan International Film Festival. "We Are The Music Makers", will play on February 8th, at 3:30 PM. This is our second selection of the 2020 season.
As we book additional showings, we will announce them on Facebook. We will also have an extensive list that is being created on www.blackstonedoc.com (currently our fundraising site). A new film site will be launched by the end of the month.

January 8-11

I’ve been filming Jerry’s masterful conducting over the past three years and was fortunate to do it again two weeks ago.
Worlds collided as Jerry worked in Washington D.C. with the US Army Chorus and a dear, talented friend André McRae. It was treasured time spent with old friends, making new ones, enjoying world-class music and laughing until my side hurt. Can we all do it again in a month or so?

Two non-stop days (no exaggeration) filming and interviewing the new Kaleidoscope Vocal Ensemble. As I was setting up at the beginning of Wednesday's dress rehearsal at Amherst, the singing began I stopped. I had to stop and listen as it was such an intense, beautiful sound. I can't wait to share the two concerts (Amherst University & Yale University), interviews from the entire ensemble, an outreach event and behind the scenes of a recording session.
