Our North Cobb-Harrison cadets did an amazing job marching in today’s Kennesaw Holly Days parade. Your dedication, teamwork, and pride truly shined. Great job, cadets!

Dear Unit Family,
We are heartbroken to share the passing of Carissa McConkey, the mother of one of our cadets and a valued member of our Unit’s Booster Board.
She poured much love and support into our community, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Carissa Anne McConkey, age 53, passed away on November 29, 2025. Family will receive friends Monday, December 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia. A funeral service to honor Carissa's life will follow at 6:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia.

Armed Exhibition got 1st place 🥇
Overall, our cadets placed 3rd for Area 9 championships. There were 12 schools competing. We are so proud of their accomplishments this season!!

We are so proud of our Drill Team! They placed 2nd overall in this weekend's Drill meet. Also, Friday, our Rifle Team placed 3rd in Precision.

Our NJROTC Fundraiser ended on Sept 13th, and we raised $9,093! 🙌

We may not have hit the $14k goal for the free Military Ball, but this is still an amazing accomplishment and a powerful start to our year.

Day 2 - Parris Island
A parent chaperone reports;
So we started out with martial arts training, then obstacle course, shopping at PX, Marine museum, and the swim tank.

Looks like it has been another full day. Graduation is tomorrow!

Meanwhile, back at NCHS, uniform inspections took place today.
