Meet your DTJ XXIX Choreographer: Amaya Harris ( )

1. How long have you been doing DTJ?
This is my 4th time since 2018. (OG status😎)
2. Favorite DTJ memory?
Throughout all the years I’ve done DTJ, my favorite parts are always the last two weeks of practice leading up to the performance. From practicing long hours with your dance family, to eating mc chickens with a little hint of parking deck dust for extra flavor.😊 Gotta love it.😌
3. Advice for new dancers?
Be ready to be asked what your favorite boba flavor is. Boba runs through our veins. Boba is key to success. All praise the mighty boba😤🙏🏽( if you don’t like boba, coffee work too😊)

1. How long have you been doing DTJ?
This is my 4th year doing DTJ 🥺 and with my fellow choreographers too, love y’all 😘
2. Favorite DTJ memory?
I love every minute of DTJ but some highlights: team heart to hearts, boots and cats, when we get to perform for friends and family before the trip down to Florida, screaming ATL HOE as we walk into UF, that FAT first place 2018 year
3. Advice for new dancers?
Don’t think, just do. Also, take care of your body. Don’t get pneumonia like me and Eric. We were sick for like 3 months 😷

Meet your DTJ XXIX Choreographer: Eric Jin (.generic)

1. How long have you been doing DTJ?
DTJ 2018, this is the fourth time already 😳
2. Favorite DTJ memory?
I can't just pick one 😭 there's too many that are from one specific person (Staircase, South Dakota, boots and cats) and then there's the big ones, like when we got first and then went to the hospital an hour later 🤧 the best memories are the ones when I got to bond with other people
3. Advice to new dancers?
Don't get pneumonia. Or do, you'll end up bonding with a lot more people like I did :D but side effects include losing your voice, 30+ pounds AND your motivation, and a massive dependency on drinking boba but I guess that last one isn't so bad

Due to logistical issues, our very own Fiesta Palooza🌊 has been moved to August 13th! Come and join us for an evening of fun. This will be a potluck event so feel free to bring any drink/food that you’d want to share with us. See you there kapamilya! 🌤

Hello everyone!
Due to popularity, we are bringing back Balikbayan Bundles for the summer! 🌻 Each box will be tailored to the person who wins it, so please fill out the form in detail!

We are raffling 5 bundles total (1 large, 2 medium, 2 small) and each entry is $1. To fully complete your entry, please do the following:

Mabuhay pamilya! ☀️ It has come to the time where the year draws to an end, so is hosting our last GBM of the semester: APIDA Celebration 🎉
We’ll be celebrating different APIDA figures, icons, and movements, and we’ll also be electing 🗳 our new E-Board for the upcoming ‘22-‘23 academic year! More info will come out on our IG story about who’s running for board, so keep an eye 👀 out for it. We hope you can all join us as we celebrate and vote for the new year!

As some of you may know from our last GBM, will be holding our last major event: Huling Salu-Salo. Because of that, we hope that you all can come and attend this memorable time where we celebrate all of FSA's 2020-2021 moments!
📍This event will be hosted on April 30th, from 6PM to 9PM at the Legacy Gazebo on KSU's Kennesaw Campus.
📍It costs $10 to attend, so please RSVP as soon as possible. For those who do not RSVP and purchase a ticket at the door, the price will be $12.
📍For food, we’ll be having adobo.atl catering! Menu details are located in the form.
📍We will have this form open up until April 30th, 5:45PM EST, so if you show up to the event without reserving, then you will have to pay extra.

Spring 🌸 is here pamilya, and to celebrate it, is hosting an Easter Egg Painting 🎨 Fundraiser on April 6th from 12PM-4PM at the Legacy Gazebo!
You can paint one egg for $2, but for $3, you can paint two eggs! We’ll also be selling Buko Pandan drinks on the side for $2. If you buy both (total of $5), you’ll be entered in our raffle to win one of our Pinagsamahan T-shirts! All proceeds go to help the club for our future events.

Happy Women’s History Month, pamilya! Next week, we will be celebrating some amazing Filipina icons and sharing some fun news for future events!
From pop culture icons to modern advocates, we’ll be talking about some of the most influential Filipina women. Also for those who attend in-person, you might have the chance of winning an original mask!
We hope to see you all next Thursday at 7PM in the Loft!
