🎓✨ Wrapping up the year by celebrating our 8th Grade Dual Language students! ✨🎓
We’re proud of our Park 8th Grade Dual Language students, many of whom have been in the program since kindergarten. Their dedication to becoming bilingual and biliterate truly shines!
Through their hard work, students completed the STAMP assessment and earned high school credit—an incredible accomplishment as they head into high school.
We are so proud of these students and all they’ve achieved. Congratulations to our Dual Language scholars!

🐾💚 We Loved Welcoming Our Future Cubs! 💚🐾
What an incredible turnout—we had nearly 400 incoming 6th grade Park Middle School students and their families join us to tour the school!
The excitement and energy made it such a special evening. A big shoutout to our amazing student WEB Leaders, who did a fantastic job leading tours and sharing what life at Park is really like.
Our staff were also there to welcome families, answer questions, and help everyone feel at home as they prepare for middle school. We can’t wait to see our newest Cubs in the fall!

👏 Real-World Learning in Action!
Our Park 8th graders recently took part in mock interviews with incredible volunteers from our community, including the Kennewick Fire Department, the Kennewick Police Department, B5, the Kennewick School District office, and more!
Students practiced professional communication, built confidence, and received valuable feedback to help them grow. Experiences like this help connect what students are learning in school to their future goals—and show them what’s possible.
A huge THANK YOU to our community partners for investing in our students and helping them shine! 💚

Throughout the month of May at Park Middle School, our Student Assistance Professional, Mr. Mendoza led meaningful activities to support student well‑being—from positive chalk messages in the courtyard to having students brainstorm healthy coping strategies and self‑care ideas.
Thank you to everyone who helped create a positive, supportive environment for our Park Cubs. Taking care of ourselves and each other matters every day. 💚

📚✨ What an incredible author visit!✨📚
Through the Cavalcade of Authors, Park Middle School had the honor of welcoming Newbery Medal and Pura Belpré Award winning author, Donna Barba Higuera, to our school.
Students and staff loved meeting her and learning about her storytelling and writing process—and one of our classes even read her books together this year!
Thank you for inspiring our Cubs to read, write, and dream big. 💚🐾

🔧🎓Tri-Tech Skills Center Visits Our 8th Graders!🎓🔧
Our 8th grade students had the opportunity to explore Tri‑Tech Skills Center programs through hands‑on, interactive stations set up right on campus. Students asked questions, tried activities, and got a real feel for what each program has to offer.
One of the highlights? Some of the Tri‑Tech students were former Park Cubs, making the experience even more meaningful and inspiring for our kids.
Thank you to Tri‑Tech for an engaging, student‑centered experience that helped our 8th graders be excited about future opportunities!🐾
