Pulse Check.
My goal of taking a walk every day in June… missed one day so far. And that day I started work before the sun came up, worked straight through until my little visitors came for a sleepover, it was a stormy afternoon and evening, and at 11:55 PM I considered going out to walk for five minutes but I was also exhausted… and so I slept. Multiple days I got two walks in so for June I’m still above average. 👍 Not perfect, but definitely progress! Considering that a win. How’s it going with your June goal?? ✌️❤️

How many times have you said “I know what to do, I just don’t do it“.
A few minutes ago I saw this quote and it was kind of a mic drop moment; it hit the nail on the head…
“You already know what to do, you’re just negotiating with comfort”
What is it you’re negotiating? Now ask yourself, what’s more important to you… ‘the thing’ or your comfort?

Yes. This. ❤️
We weren’t designed to produce seven days a week, non-stop.
Chronic stress with no true recovery breaks the body down at a cellular level. Cortisol stays elevated, inflammation builds up, and relationships suffer. Our connection to God gets drowned out by the noise.
But rest creates the space for all of it to come back.
The Sabbath is a day you remember what you’re actually working for, and Who this is all for.
