Today we celebrated our amazing 5th grade students on their last day as elementary school students! We are so proud of each and every one of you and will miss you dearly next year. As you begin this exciting new chapter, we wish you the very best in all of your future endeavors. Congratulations on this milestone and all that you have accomplished! We can’t wait to see all the great things you’ll do!
Mrs. Solomon’s 3rd grade class completed the National Park White House Activity Booklet. They then took the National Park Junior Ranger Oath to promise to protect and care for our country’s resources and land. Way to go 3rd Graders!
Parents did you know that your 4th grader can get the entire family into national parks and historical sights for free? The program is called Every Kid Outdoors. It’s a great way to see the USA!

Our 3rd grade students and staff took a field trip to the Racine County Zoo! Thank you to all the parent chaperones who volunteered their time to attend!

Our amazing Teddys had a fun and successful track and field day!

Wow! Mrs. Griesemer’s class has been busy as we wrap up another wonderful school year!
Our young scientists, engineers, and artists have been hard at work exploring, creating, and discovering!
Lemon Day: We experimented to see whether a lemon would sink or float depending on whether the peel was left on. We discovered that a lemon floats with its peel but sinks once it is peeled. We concluded that small air pockets within the peel help keep the lemon afloat!
Skittle Art: We created colorful works of art using Skittles and observed the beautiful patterns they made.
Snow White’s Poison Apple: We learned about chemical reactions by combining baking soda and vinegar. We discovered that when a solid and a liquid are mixed, they can produce a gas!
The Three Little Pigs STEM Challenge: Using geometry and area, we designed and built houses that could withstand the Big Bad Wolf. Through our investigation, we learned that triangles are stronger and more stable than squares.
What an amazing year of learning, experimenting, and growing together!

Today, our Teddys enjoyed their day at the Kenosha Kingfish baseball game! So much fun was had by all! Special shoutout to Jane Snediker for helping make this possible!
