We are open Monday thru Friday. 7:30 to 5:30. Position is Full
Time summer time! 8:30-5:15. With an hour lunch break.

Alphabet Kids Childcare is looking for a reliable and dependable Part-Time Cook to join our team immediately!

📍 Location:
2631 2nd Ave
Inside the Nazarene Church
Conveniently located directly in town

Schedule:
Monday–Friday
7:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Starting Pay:
$19.00 per hour

Job Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Preparing breakfast and lunch
• Prepping snacks
• Serving meals to each classroom
• Kitchen dishes & clean-up after meals
Requirements:

• Must be reliable and dependable
• Must pass a background check
• Must provide 3 verifiable references
• Willingness to learn the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)

Well! We have our new sinks installed! Beautiful stainless steel prep tables! Lots of new shelving to store food! I passed my Certified Food Protection Manager test! Official! Once again!! 😀😀😀 Food permit application and plans have been sent into DEC AND were well on our way back to the Child and Adult Food Program to begin serving meals again to all

The House just approved $7.5M for Early Educator Recruitment and Retention in the operating budget. These funds are not guaranteed to be included in the final budget when it reaches the governor's desk, but your advocacy can help!

Senator Bert Stedman has been a consistent supporter of child care funding and serves on the Senate Finance Committee, where the future of this funding will be decided. As the budget bill advances, your senator’s support is especially influential.

Please contact his office by email or phone and ask him to fight to keep the $7.5M for Early Educator Recruitment and Retention in the final budget.
