Alzheimerās disease is the most common cause of dementia, a condition that affects memory, thinking, and behavior. It is a progressive brain disorder that gradually impacts a personās ability to carry out daily activities and live independently.

Alzheimerās and Brain Awareness Month raises awareness about the importance of brain health, supports those affected by Alzheimerās and other forms of dementia, and encourages continued research toward better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
