🐾 We Can't Help Without You. 🐾

Florida SARC has just received another request for assistance from one of our county partners to help facilitate the transfer and care of animals coming from a difficult situation.

When local shelters and animal services agencies become overwhelmed, Florida SARC steps in with trained volunteers, equipment, and support to help ensure animals receive the care they need.

But we can't answer these calls without your help.
As a donation-funded program, every dollar helps us train responders, provide equipment, and deploy volunteers where they are needed most. Your support directly impacts our ability to assist animals and the agencies working tirelessly to protect them.

πŸ’™ Please consider making a donation today: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/fsar/

Together, we can ensure that when the call comes, help is already on the way.

🐾 Today, Florida SARC is in Miami-Dade County delivering our Small Animal Emergency Sheltering Awareness (Level 1) course, sponsored by FL SART and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and hosted in partnership with the Miami-Dade Office of Emergency Management.

Participants from animal welfare, emergency management, and volunteer organizations are coming together to learn the fundamentals of emergency sheltering for pets and service animals during disasters. Through training, discussion, and practical exercises, these future responders are gaining the knowledge needed to support animals and their families when emergencies occur.

We are grateful to FL SART for sponsoring this training opportunity and to the Miami-Dade Office of Emergency Management for partnering with us to help strengthen Florida's animal response capabilities.

Preparedness starts long before the storm arrives. Every person trained today helps build a stronger, more resilient response network for tomorrow.

More trained responders means more animals saved.

Animals cannot speak for themselves, which is why they need us to be their advocates and their voice when we see situations that we know in our hearts are not right. If you ignore the signs of neglect, abuse, or suffering, those animals may never get the help they desperately need.

Speaking up can make all the difference. Reporting concerns, asking questions, or reaching out to the proper authorities may help save an animal from continued hardship and give them a chance at a better life. It is not easy to get involved, and you might feel k**e it's not your place, but it is and compassion requires action.

Every animal deserves a voice. When you see something wrong, trust your instincts and do not look away.

Together, we can make a difference for animals in our communities. Because the ENTIRE family matters!!
