It’s National Eat Your Vegetables Day!
Be honest… are you eating them because you want to, or because you know you should?
One of the things we love incorporating into our life skills sessions is teaching teens how to prepare simple, real meals they can actually enjoy.
Because learning how to take care of yourself matters.
And sometimes… that starts with figuring out how to make vegetables taste good.
So tell us—what’s one vegetable you actually enjoy eating?

Let’s talk about it…
What does “family” mean to you?
For some, it’s who you’re born into.
For others, it’s who shows up—consistently, intentionally, and with love.
For children impacted by foster care, family can look a lot of different ways.
And often, it’s the people who choose to stay, support, and show up that make all the difference.
We’d love to hear from you. What does “family” mean to you?

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads, father figures, and foster dads who show up with love, guidance, and unwavering support.
Today, we celebrate the men who make a difference in the lives of children and youth every day, through encouragement, sacrifice, and simply being there.
Thank you for the impact you make. You matter more than you know.
Juneteenth, downtown Lawrenceville. Come enjoy some good music and say hi to us.

Graduation isn’t just about a cap and gown. It’s about everything it took to get there.
The challenges. The transitions. The moments that could have gone another way, but didn’t.
For children impacted by foster care, reaching this milestone is a powerful reminder of what’s possible.
Congratulations—we are so proud of you.
And while we celebrate this moment. We’re also thinking about what comes next.
Because love in action doesn’t stop at graduation. It continues in the guidance, the support, and the opportunities that help them step into their future with confidence.
Not every moment we create is loud.
But each one is intentional.
Each one is personal.
Each one is a reminder that children impacted by foster care are seen, valued, and not alone.
From birthdays that are remembered…
to life skills that prepare them for what’s next…
to back-to-school experiences, holiday celebrations, and shared meals…
These moments may seem small.
But they have a lasting impact.
This is what it looks like to serve, love, and equip in every season of life.
