We want to take a moment to thank all of our sponsors, exhibitors, and advertisers for supporting the 2026 GSBA Summer Conference & Delegate Assembly.

Events like this would not be as spectacular as they are without the generosity and partnership of these businesses. Your support helps bring our members together, strengthen our schools, and create an exceptional experience for everyone who attends.

Thank you for helping make this year’s conference such a success!

🌟 Spotlight on Success: Glynn County Schools 🌟

In Glynn County, the school system is taking a practical, whole-child approach to student success by supporting both students and the staff who serve them.

Initiatives like an on-site employee daycare and a paraprofessional-to-teacher program help strengthen the workforce, while The Book Space and expanded nutrition services help meet students’ literacy and wellness needs during the school year and summer months.

This Spotlight on Success story is a reminder that a strong board-superintendent partnership can turn specific local challenges into meaningful, student-centered solutions.

Together, these efforts help students, staff, and the broader coastal community thrive.

At today’s GSBA Days of Giving event, we were proud to support Commerce City Schools as they continue building out the CCSS Giving Den, a free clothing and resource center created to serve students across the community.

From clothing and basic necessities to a welcoming space built around dignity and care, the Giving Den reflects the power of schools, leaders, and communities working together to support the whole child and create opportunities for every student to succeed.

We’re grateful to Commerce City for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful project and to support the important work happening in Georgia’s public schools. We’re excited to see the impact the CCSS Giving Den will have for students and families!

As we wrap up the final day of Summer Conference 2026, we are grateful for the conversations, connections, and shared commitment to Georgia’s students that defined this week.

Today’s sessions included an inspiring student speaker, remarks from Georgia Speaker of the House Jon Burns, a discussion on literacy with Dayle Burns, and the passing of the gavel from Amy Murphy to the incoming GSBA President, Cornelius Ball, as we look ahead to a new year of leadership.

We were also proud to recognize the inaugural participants in the Excellence in Governance Institute: Jefferson City Schools, Fulton County Schools, Douglas County School System, and Columbia County School District. Their commitment to continuous improvement and effective governance reflects the important work happening in school districts across Georgia.

Thank you to every board member, superintendent, educator, student, sponsor, exhibitor, and partner who helped make this year’s Summer Conference a success. Together, we continue to strengthen public education and create opportunities for Georgia’s students to thrive.

Safe travels, and we’ll see you in December for the GSBA/GSSA Annual Conference in Atlanta!
