🌊🐚 Ocean Adventures on the Inventor Side! Inventors have been diving deep into their Ocean Unit by exploring the amazing wonders of the sea! They learned about bioluminescence and created glowing masterpieces. ✨ They also sorted a variety of shells, comparing their sizes, shapes, textures, and colors. Along with writing letters in the sand, students became engineers, designing and building strong sandcastles. They tested their creations to see if they could hold a heavy weight. 🏰💪

☀️🎨 Summer Camp Creativity in Full Spray! This week, the theme is Street Art Studio! Campers are exploring new ways to create! They are experimenting with marker airbrushes and stencils, learning how layering, color, and design can transform simple shapes into eye-catching works of art! 🎨☀️

🚀🌎🌙 Our Explorers are having an out-of-this-world time learning about space during our current unit study! So far, they created Earth-inspired paintings and mixed blue and green playdough together to mold their own versions of our planet.

This week they've begun learning about the Moon. Students investigated how craters are formed by dropping balls into flour to create crater imprints! They also expressed their creativity through moon-themed paintings 🌕 🖌️

We can't wait to see where our space adventure takes us next! 🚀✨

📚🐻 Our Inventors had a wonderful adventure with "A Bear Called Paddington" last week! After enjoying the story together, the children brought Paddington's world to life through a variety of hands-on activities inspired by the book. They made delicious marmalade sandwiches just like Paddington's favorite snack, practiced their fine motor skills by sewing their own little bears, and worked collaboratively to create bubbly foam maps! 🫧

☀️ Summer Camp is off to a great start! We're already making amazing memories! Our campers enjoyed their first field trip of the season with a fun-filled day at the park! 😎

This week, the Inventors are flying to Neverland to learn about Peter Pan! ✨🏴‍☠️ They stained paper with tea to make old pirate maps, drew their own treasure maps to get ready to hunt for golden treasure! They also had so much fun acting out the story! 💛🗺️✨
