We welcome high school students and their families to join us for the Central Texas Summer Bootcamp Series!

The Austin Regional Counselor network is hosting summer college bootcamps covering topics on college admissions, timelines, and the application process. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with representatives from various colleges/universities. We hope you can join us!

The Leander iSD bootcamp is being held at Glenn High School on July 27th. If that date doesn't work for you, there are other options this summer in neighboring districts (dates on the google form)

2026 Summer Meal Service:

On Mondays-Thursdays, from June 10-25, and July 6-30, 2026, Leander ISD will connect children 18 and younger as well as enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 with healthy, no-cost summer meals.

LISD Young Writers Camp 2026: Incoming 6th-12th Graders

21st century literacy and communication skills require practice and application opportunities, and writing camp helps all our young writers grow in their craft to meet the demands of an ever-changing world.

During camp, students engage in each step of the writing process to produce a piece of writing on a topic and in a genre of choice. Along the way, students will analyze and emulate mentor texts, practice writing strategies and techniques, and benefit from feedback from multiple sources.

Camp instructors will provide small group instruction and one-on-one conferencing to take writers to the next level by building skills relevant to their writing proficiency both inside and outside of school.

July 13-16 from 1 PM - 4 PM
Hosted at Running Brushy Middle School (transportation available)
