This week at the National Association of Colleges and Employers Conference, Rachel Larson has been connecting with career services professionals from across the country while proudly representing our University Career Services team. A standout moment of the conference for her was the opportunity to present several prestigious awards, including the Mentor of the Year Award, Northwestern Mutual Rising Star Award, Employer Recruiting Champion Award, and Mackes Leadership Award.

We're especially grateful for moments like these that remind us how much progress is possible when passionate people come together around a shared purpose: helping students succeed.

Congratulations to all of this year's award recipients on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for the work you do to support student success and strengthen our profession. Your leadership, dedication, and commitment to student success are creating ripple effects that will be felt for years to come.

Career Services deploys a First Destination Survey to recently graduated students regarding their plans upon graduation from UNL. This research highlights self-reported employment, continued education, military service, volunteer work, and starting salary data for UNL graduates. 🎓

Below are highlights on the Class of 2025!

☆ Graduates are employed across 41 states
☆ More than 81% secured employment or enrolled in further education within six months of graduation

Van Phan is a rising junior majoring in graphic design. She is excited to grow professionally while giving back to the campus community through University Career Services.

"I'm looking forward to making a difference on campus while pursuing my career goals."
