This past spring, University of Nebraska-Lincoln students partnered with 26 nonprofit organizations across the Lincoln area, contributing 3,738 hours of service to support youth programs, healthcare initiatives, animal welfare organizations and more.
Their efforts generated an estimated $119,474 in economic impact while helping local organizations expand their reach and serve the community. Through these partnerships, students made a meaningful difference both on and off campus.

Twenty-one students from across Nebraska have been selected for the newest cohort of the Nebraska Elite 11 Veterinarian Program. A partnership between the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the State of Nebraska, the program strengthens veterinary services in rural communities by supporting and developing the next generation of veterinary professionals.
