Pound Middle School

Pound Middle School students celebrated their research work this spring at a STEM-based showcase! Split into three groups, they explored community issues with their science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) knowledge, working with parents, teachers and outside organizations like National Center for Families Learning, BrainSTEM Edtech and the Nebraska Statewide Family Engagement Center to integrate their research with virtual reality technology!

Congratulations on our Native American Success scholars' promotion to the next level of their education! LPS American Indian Education and the Native American Advisory Committee want to celebrate this achievement with 8th grade American Indian students.

LPS Indian Education recently held a ceremony at Lincoln Standing Bear High School, but students at Pound were additionally recognized with certificates last Friday. Congrats!

Pound Middle preps fun pizzas for Career and Technical Education Month February is Career and Technical Education Month and Pound Middle School students got in on the fun and learning by baking up mini pizzas.
