Three faculty-led study abroad experiences this summer have taking NWU students to Egypt 🇪🇬, Italy 🇮🇹 and Mexico 🇲🇽 — this year marked NWU's first-ever faculty-led trip to Egypt.

Eoghan Hartley ('16) has parlayed his NWU theatre experience into a successful career on the East Coast, including an assistant stage manager position for the world-famous 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘢𝘴 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘰 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘙𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘴.

Hartley recently returned to NWU to share his experience with current NWU students, including senior Samantha Wellenbring, who is stage managing the Pinewood Bowl's production of Annie this summer.

With just a little more than 10 weeks until move in day for new students, we welcomed the newest class of Prairie Wolves to campus to get familiar with their new home. Between icebreaker bingo, student photos, and information sessions, this crew will be ready to go when August rolls around!

The University Place Creative District received a $97,000 economic development grant through the Nebraska Arts Council!

The grant exists to revitalize Nebraska neighborhoods through cultural programs geared to attract visitors and retain young people. NWU art history professor Bailey Barnard helped secure the grant.
