Thanks to Lincoln Littles for convening early childhood professionals for a different kind of learning.
Beyond the data 📈 because relationships matter. Not only with the scholars we serve, but also understanding and honoring that dynamic with colleagues, families, and most importantly, with ourselves. Our time included a bit of karaoke and a deeper dive, which led to an understanding of the numbers; however that we can be data rich but not at the expense of being relationship poor. Relationships transform!

A father’s love doesn’t end at the sidelines it shapes lives long after the final whistle.
If you missed this week’s episode, make time for it. The wisdom, vulnerability, and advice shared from father to son is something all of us can learn from, no matter our age. Some conversations stay with you. This is one of them.
May we reflect that beyond this day, fatherhood is filled with joy and challenges, laughter and sacrifice, love and unforgettable moments.
Today, we also acknowledge those who are no longer here, who may struggle with loss, absence, or complicated memories. Yet even amid that reality, may we honor the gifts, lessons, love, and presence that helped shape who we are and who we continue to become.
Happy Father's Day to all who embrace the role of dads, fathers, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, mentors, bonus dads, and the many others who choose each day to guide, support, protect, and love.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom delayed is freedom denied. It marks June 19, 1865—the day the last enslaved Americans learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
Our history is found not only in moments of celebration but also in moments of truth. By remembering honestly, we honor resilience, pursue justice, and continue the work of building a more perfect union.
May we reflect, remember, and walk forward together with civility, equity, justice, kindness, and love.

For nearly 30 years, the Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Rally has been my masterclass in leadership, engagement, and elevating scholar and human voice. I've grown alongside countless young people and watched the Rally grow from humble beginnings to a global audience.
The best part? I'm convinced the next chapter, centered on the standing purpose of honoring the full life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and founder Dr. Leola Bullock, is still ahead.
Organizations today are often data-rich yet relationship-poor. Beyond improving performance, strengthen the human relationships that sustain it.
My interactive keynotes and workshops help leaders, teams, and communities close the relationship gap through practical, actionable strategies that build trust, belonging, and authentic connection. Attendees leave with tools they can immediately apply through my Lean In Louder™ concept to strengthen teams, improve culture, and invest more intentionally in a Gross National Product that has stood the test of time…people.

Tremendous insight from Avery Laing on the impact of relationships. Proof once again that success is rarely a solo journey—people matter, connections matter, and relationships lead.

🎙️ This Sunday | 11:00 a.m. CST
Join us on 93.7 The Ticket Bigger Than the Score as we sit down with Avery Laing, a recent graduate who is preparing to trade throwing the Lopes of the University of Kearney for life in the classroom this fall.
Avery will share her unique story of:
➡️ Heading west on I-80
➡️ Stepping outside her comfort zone
➡️ Being her authentic self
➡️ Handling success and growth
➡️ Understanding the difference between teaching and education
And with Harrison out this week, Rudy is on the board. There’s a good chance Avery will have to explain the difference between 🤘 Hook ’Em Horns and the Lopes hand sign!

Collegiate registrars and admissions professionals came together to improve enrollment data. What we discovered is what many organizations are learning—data matters, but relationships often determine the outcome.
I've adapted my lived, training, and research experiences into keynotes and workshops that help organizations connect data to relationships and achieve measurable results.
Participants leave with:
✔ Practical strategies to build engaged relationships
✔ The Relationship A's that drive connection and trust
✔ Reflection on personal and professional alignment with purpose
✔ Actionable tools they can use immediately
The best part? The outcomes aren't prescribed—they're uncovered together.
If you're planning a conference, retreat, leadership event, or professional learning experience, I'd welcome the opportunity to continue the conversation. Visit: peterfergusonbhs.com.
