Nebraska Farm Bureau has created a helpful checklist for members wishing to contest their property valuations. If you believe the assessed value of your home, farmstead, or other real estate is excessive, you have the option to protest at the county clerk’s office. You can submit your protest either in person or by mail; however, it must be done in triplicate, signed, dated, and postmarked by June 30. Login, download our checklist today and put it to good use! https://ne.fbiris.com/Documents/Protesting-Property-Values-Form
