History has been made at City Park! 🏆 historic 👑

The final round of the 2026 Denver Men’s City Amateur Championship is officially in the books, and it was a weekend we won’t forget. A massive congratulations to Jesse Hand, CSH Class of 2025, who put on an absolute masterclass to claim the title and set a brand new tournament record at an incredible -16 gross!

Nick Fallin put up a phenomenal final-round charge with a scorching 63 to claim solo second, but Jesse’s historic pace was simply untouchable.

Here is how the final Top 5 shook out for the Championship:

It is such an honor to recognize the JEFFCO 5A FEMALE SPORTS COACH OF THE YEAR, our very own, COACH CHANEL CHAVEZ!! Coach Chavez has been coaching at Chatfield since 2010 and helped guide our gymnastics team to a State Runner Up finish this year! She was selected by the the 5A Athletic Directors to be the Female Sports Coach of the Year for the entire district! We are very proud of all you have accomplished Coach Chavez and it was a honor celebrating you at the Jeffco Athletics Hall of Fame luncheon! Congratulations to our Counseling Team that was chosen as the Jeffco Counseling Program of the Year! We are super proud of them and thankful for all they do to support and guide our students and for the awareness they bring to our community in regards to mental health and future planning.
