๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ‘ Congratulations to the seniors in the John F. Kennedy High School CTE Child Development pathway who recently participated in a Grad Walk at Tulsa Street Elementary!

Throughout the school year, these students have served as tutors and classroom aides through a meaningful internship experience, supporting younger learners while developing their own leadership, communication, and teaching skills.

โ€œCompletersโ€ are students who successfully complete a schoolโ€™s career pathway. The Los Angeles Unified School District CTE-Linked Learning department is visiting our schools with the top five highest โ€œcompleters.โ€

On June 3, we dropped by for Huntington Park Institute of Applied Medicine to visit Principal Chaikittirattana and his outstanding team. HPIAM had an 88.3% completion rate for the class of 2025, ranking it as the top school in LAUSD for the second consecutive year.

This takes an incredible effort from students, staff, teachers, counselors, and administrators. Congrats to all! LAUSD Region East

These internships helped students build confidence, explore career pathways, and prepare for success in college, careers, and beyond.
