Before you take the NAPLEX, make sure you know these 7 things that can help you avoid unnecessary stress on exam day. 💊
After months of studying, the last thing you want is a preventable mistake adding extra stress on one of the most important days of your pharmacy career.
📍 Do a test run to your testing center beforehand. Know where you’re going, where to park, and how long it will take to get there.
⏰ Plan to arrive 15–30 minutes early and make sure you bring a valid, acceptable ID.
🧥 Dress comfortably and wear layers. Testing centers are often cold, but it’s best to avoid bulky clothing, hoodies, excessive pockets, or anything that could slow down the security screening process.
📱 Turn your phone off and store it away. Phones, smartwatches, headphones, notes, and other prohibited items are not allowed in the testing room.
🚶♀️ Take your scheduled breaks. During the 6-hour NAPLEX, you’ll receive two optional 10-minute breaks. Use them! Go to the bathroom, stretch your legs, drink some water, have a quick snack, and give your brain a chance to reset before jumping back into the exam.
🧠 About a week before your exam, start following the same schedule you’ll use on test day. If your NAPLEX starts at 8:00 AM, practice waking up, eating breakfast, and studying at 8:00 AM. Train your brain to be alert and focused during the same time frame you’ll be taking your exam.
💌 And one final reminder: NAPLEX results are not immediate. Most candidates wait approximately 7–10 business days for results. Many students walk out of the exam unsure of how they performed. Try not to overanalyze every question afterward—what’s done is done.
Trust your preparation. Trust yourself. Take it one question at a time. You’ve got this.

What an INCREDIBLE first day!!! 🔥💊
Now comes one of the MOST important parts of learning:
REVIEWING the material as soon as possible.
I strongly encourage you to set aside time tonight to go over what we covered today. Even 20 focused minutes can make a HUGE difference in retention.
✍🏼 Rewrite your notes
🦠 Review the HIV combinations
⚠️ Go over the interactions we stressed
🧪 Review labs
Repetition, repetition, repetition. 🔁
The sooner your brain sees the material again, the stronger those connections become.
Then get a good night’s sleep. Tomorrow morning, get outside for a few minutes before class starts. Get some sunshine, do a few jumping jacks, wake your brain up, hydrate, and come ready to learn.
Because tomorrow… we take on CARDIO. ❤️
Just like today, come prepared with your paper, pen, notes, and FULL focus.
Six intense days ahead. Let’s keep pushing together.
You are ONE step closer to becoming licensed pharmacists.
