In the last month of school we give 4 students a disposable camera to get their perspectives on their last days of school!

Our very own Mr. Angel took a trip to Orange County to pray at the relics of St. Anthony.
The relics came from the Pontifical Basilica of his hometown, Padua. He’s known as the “Evangelical Doctor.”

Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI said of relics “By inviting us to venerate the mortal remains of the martyrs and saints, the Church does not forget that, in the end, these are indeed just human bones, but they are bones that belonged to individuals touched by the living power of God. The relics of the saints are traces of that invisible but real presence which sheds light upon the shadows of the world and reveals the Kingdom of Heaven in our midst.”
St Anthony intercedes with those trying to find a job, housing, faith, love, hope, harmony within the family, good health, peace of mind and mercy.

The relic here is part of a rib from his back. (Floating rib as they don’t connect).

Today, we celebrate five incredible educators whose dedication, passion, and commitment have helped shape generations of students at Bishop Alemany.

Thank you for the countless lessons taught, lives impacted, memories created, and years of service given to our school community. Your influence extends far beyond the classroom and will continue to be felt for years to come.

As you begin this new chapter, we wish you happiness, adventure, and a well-deserved retirement. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior. ❤️💛
