Emma Hintz curates online marketplace for sustainable, women-owned fashion stores - Daily Bruin Emma Hintz was tired of endlessly searching for ethical fashion, so she built the shortcut she wished already existed. Hintz, a fourth-year sociology student, launched Foster, a curated online marketplace featuring 13 small, sustainable, women-owned fashion businesses, May 4.

It's not too late for your Bruin to sign up to volunteer for Sustainable Move Out! Students can help support UCLA's sustainability efforts while giving back to the community!

Encourage your student to participate in UCLA's Sustainable Bruin Move Out taking place on Thursday, June 11! This program is a community effort to collect unwanted furniture, kitchenware, and more for donation. Instead of tossing those items out, students can drop them off at one of three locations in the North Village where they will be sorted and donated to nonprofit partners. Your Bruin can help reduce their carbon footprint, support the community, and keep Westwood beautiful – just by taking a few simple steps.
