We are excited to share the final results from last week’s Greek Life Blood Drive in honor of passed Sigma Pi brother Garni Arakelian. The blood and platelet center was able to collect 52 whole blood donations and 2 platelet donations! Not only did we smash our original goal of 35 donations, but we also doubled the number of donations we received last year. This is a phenomenal achievement, and it would not have been possible without the help of the UCLA blood and platelet center and every single one of you who personally donated.
Every donation directly supports the UCLA Health hospital system and its patients, providing a lifeline to individuals just like Garni who rely on these critical resources. Sigma Pi and the rest of the UCLA Health community, cannot thank you all enough for your generous donations.

A huge thank you to Sigma Pi UCLA alumnus and 2x Emmy Award-winning FOX Sports producer and manager Spencer Sacks for visiting the chapter and sharing his story with the brotherhood.
From his time as a student at UCLA and in the Sigma Pi house to building an accomplished career in sports broadcasting, Spencer spoke about the experiences, relationships, and opportunities that helped shape his path. He also reflected on his leadership within the chapter, including philanthropy initiatives like Beach Cleanup and Sorority Super Bowl, and how those experiences carried beyond college.
We’re grateful for the chance to learn from a fellow brother whose journey continues to represent the lasting impact of Sigma Pi both at UCLA and beyond.

Brotherhood is built in the everyday moments: trust, shared experiences, and the people who consistently stand beside you. It’s something earned over time, and carried well beyond college.
Rush Sigma Pi. Rush starts first week of the quarter; see you at the manor.

Here’s a recap of this year’s Semi-Formal: an incredible night filled with great energy and great company. Events like this remind us how special our brotherhood is to be able to come together, celebrate, and have fun outside of the school, work, and other activities. We’re extremely grateful to Kenneth for opening his home and putting in the effort to make the night possible and incredible for everyone. From start to finish it was an amazing time, and we’re lucky to have brothers like him who help make Sigma Pi such a strong and welcoming community. Cheers to a great night and many more to come.

Congratulations to one of our brothers Tommy Rudowicz and the UCLA Sailing Team on an outstanding run of performances this season. Tommy recently skippered the A Division for UCLA at regattas in San Diego, Cal Poly SLO, and Arizona, highlighted by a Division A victory in Arizona, along with strong finishes of 2nd at Cal Poly SLO and 4th in San Diego.
Winning the A Division is an incredible accomplishment, and Tommy’s consistency and performance on the water helped drive UCLA to top-5 team finishes at every event. These finishes have catapulted Tommy to his next stop: Nationals qualifiers.
We’re proud to see brothers competing and winning at such a high level. Congratulations Tommy on an incredible stretch and representing UCLA so well.
