Learning a new language is its own reward, but keep in mind what you plan to DO with the language.
It may feel obvious, but most language learning apps fail to support the purpose of language: **COMMUNICATION**
Regardless of how you learn your language, continue to communicate with others as you learn and grow yourself.

You are hereby invited to attend a guest lecture by Dr. Antony Kunnan. As you may know, Dr. Kunnan was a professor in our program before left to teach in Hong Kong.
As the founding editor of "Language Testing" and "The Language Testing Research Conference," he is known all over the world for his work on language testing. We are fortunate to have him back for a guest lecture.
The title of his presentation is: "Language assessment for immigration and citizenship: The case of US politics and the US Naturalization Test"
