Tinker Club had an amazing time at Chamlian Armenian School exploring how robotics and automation can help create more sustainable cities! Students learned how technology can save energy, reduce waste, and protect our environment.

One exciting challenge? Water conservation! 💧 While sprinklers and drip irrigation systems help, they don’t always know when plants actually need water. That’s where robotics comes in!

We discovered how moisture sensors can measure soil conditions and help automate irrigation, ensuring plants get water only when needed.

From coding to environmental problem-solving, our future innovators designed smart solutions for a greener world! 🌿🚀

🌿⚡ Are leaves conductive?

At Tinker Club our curious students put nature to the test! Through hands-on experiments, we explored whether leaves can conduct electricity and discovered how science is all around us—even in the plants we see every day.

Nothing beats watching young minds ask questions, test ideas, and make exciting discoveries together. We loved seeing students and parents join in on the fun and learning! 🎉🔬

Curiosity sparked, experiments completed, and lots of smiles shared. Another amazing day at Tinker Club Glendale! 🚀

How does a snack machine work? 🍫🥤

Our young engineers put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test by designing their own snack machines!

From simple machines and moving parts to trial and error, students explored the engineering behind the vending machines we use every day.

Another meaningful and impactful session at the Armenian Wellness Festival with Tinker Club 💛

We were honored to hear from Sona Hovsepian, LCSW, as she spoke on Breaking the Stigma: Understanding Substance Use Disorder and Its Warning Signs.

This important conversation brought awareness to the realities of substance use disorder, the importance of early intervention, and how education, compassion, and community support can make a difference. Sessions like these help break harmful stigmas and create safer spaces for honest conversations within families and communities ✨

We had the opportunity to hear from Nora Chitilian, M.S., LMFT, as she shared powerful wisdom on Building Confidence in Children: Helping Kids Thrive and Stand Up to Bullying.

From encouraging healthy communication to teaching kids how to believe in themselves and navigate challenges with confidence, this session was filled with meaningful reminders for both parents and children. It was so special seeing our Armenian community come together to learn, grow, and support one another ✨
