It's easy to browse on Folksy as all items are sorted into one of seven categories:
๐ฟJewellery
๐๐ Clothing & Accessories
๐ฅฃ๐ถHomeware
๐จArt
๐Cards & Stationery
๐Weddings
๐ฆSupplies
Today I searched 'jewellery' then looked through the subcategories and found these beautiful bracelets under 'sea glass'.
Folksy is the home of British craft - the place to buy handmade gifts and original artwork, sold directly by the artists and designers who have created them. Made with love, every purchase from Folksy supports a genuine craftsperson.
My Folksy shop is called Allison's Patchworks.

What tempts you to buy handmade gifts and items for your home?
If you'd like to see an inspiring variety of British crafts, made by REAL people then I recommend you browse Folksy. It's easy to find!
This is the Folksy strap line (and it's true, not just marketing bluff!):
"The UK's Biggest Online Craft Fair Folksy is the home of British craft - the place to buy handmade gifts and original artwork, sold directly by the artists and designers who have created them. Made with love, every purchase from Folksy supports a genuine craftsperson."
I've used Folksy as my on-line shop platform for many years and found it a much, much more genuine place to be than other larger platforms.
Why not follow Folksy so original handmade loveliness pops up in into your Facebook?

Lots and lots to see, smell and enjoy in the peace of The Botanic Gardens, Ventnor, Isle of Wight. The hydrangea walk was beautiful ๐ฉต๐ฉท๐ค

Wondering what it's like in The Patchwork Hub at Home?
This is what members find when they click to find tutorials, patterns etc The latest piece of content is at the top and there's a small selection of tabs to make it easy to find all the other content.

๐ค 'Allison can you sum up The Patchwork Hub at Home in one sentence?'
Ans: 'The Patchwork Hub at Home is a monthly membership designed to build skills and confidence one step at a time, no pressure, just useful tips and bite-size tutorials to implement as you sew.'
Hmm... There's so much more I'd like to say... Check out the information page to find out more...

Order is emerging from the chaos of random fabric scraps ๐
This fun patchwork technique is one of the many I've tried, tested and adapted over the past 16 years. As I've grown in experience and confidence it's been my absolute pleasure to pass on skills, techniques and my love for the craft of patchwork-quilting. I've taught many beginners classes and technique workshops to encourage people to move on to the next level.
Over the past couple of years I've had to curb my workshop programme to give time to caring for elderly parents. Now there are grandchildren on the scene too!
I miss running workshops and getting along to sociable sewing groups. I know there are plenty of other patchwork-quilters experiencing similar pressures on their time or dealing with their own physical or mental frailties...
That's why I created The Patchwork Hub at Home. A place to find easy to follow tips and tutorials, all designed to add to your knowledge and skills without being overwhelming. I also give handy links and tips via email to save you the time searching through all the not so helpful advice and tutorials out there. If you can't commit to regular workshops or groups The Hub is available and accessible in the little pockets of time you have to sew.
There's a Facebook group too. Ready to take off and be that safe social space where projects and questions can be shared. Come and join us as we build a community around the craft of patchwork-quilting ๐

Hello! Messaging here can be a bit hit and miss. But I do enjoy sharing news with you from my sewing room (and my garden too ๐ฟ). Thank you for choosing to follow me via this page ๐
New from my sewing room this year is The Patchwork Hub at Home. Subscribers have access to exclusive tutorials, patterns, patchwork news and skill-building projects. Everything in The Hub is bite-sized so members can learn, get inspired AND make the most of their sewing time ๐
We have our own Facebook group, an ideal place to share projects and ask questions. And I'm happy to use questions as prompts for quick tutorials or to research the best resources to help you move your projects forward while growing your skills and confidence ๐
