Thanks to you, we surpassed Rediscover’s $75,000 campaign goal by nearly 10% to ensure 120 scholarships will go to deserving youth and families from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds this summer and be ready for last minute financial aid requests. We’re providing young makers with the inimitable Tinkering Camp experience!

This achievement reflects our community efforts to make a real difference for those in need across Los Angeles County. With your help, creative 6 to 12 year olds who otherwise wouldn’t have access to hands-on sustainable maker experiences are going to transform recycled materials into incredible art projects and huge collaborative creations.

Youth from Glendale to Venice will gain hands-on art and STEM skills while building creativity and confidence for future projects, professional careers, and major life milestones. That is incredible!

Rediscover Mid City is partnering with Fairy Camp for a recycled‑materials fairy house workshop where kids and their favorite grown ups can tinker, glue, and imagine together.

The workshop is $15, and we’re offering a two-for-one ticket deal to make it easy to create side by side!

🐸🪄 Sorry to say this but Rediscover Venice and Mid City will be closed on Saturdays for the summer. Plan ahead and join us on Sundays instead! We'll be open on Sundays for Weekend Family Crafting, Tool Training, and Open Studio.

We'll be hosting FREE Artist Workshops on select Sundays, found in our Eventbrite.

🎁 Your gift will provide hands-on sustainable summer camp for youth ages 6-12, bringing joy to underserved kids who may not have access to arts activities, welcoming spaces, and ways to play with their peers this summer. 🎪 Thank you for attending Puppets & Play last Saturday at The Pit La! We had a blast sharing the stage with the amazing puppeteers at All Fools Puppet Troupe and all the families that attended. Big thank you to Heirloom LA for delicious catering spread and Organic Wine Selections by Natural Merchants for the incredible bar provisions. 🍇
