I am so excited to be back with my Scoggins Family as your School Counselor after spending the last 3 years opening Wortham Intermediate! It's going to be a fabulous year together! Until then I'll be relaxing poolside with my husband & 4 kids with an iced latte in one hand & a good book in the other!

Hello, Scoggins! My name is Eunice Canoy, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team as the new SPED Coach. I love collaborating with teachers, advocating for students, and creating opportunities for growth. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

First McKinney Teen Police Academy of the summer in the books and current and future Seahawks represented well! And… once again one of ours was selected as MVP! Thank you to Officer Davis for pouring so much into our students!

Hi, Seahawks! I'm Jalanii Johnson, your new Librarian. I am excited to help students discover new stories, explore their interests, and build a lifelong love of reading. My husband and I have three kiddos who keep life fun and busy. Fun fact: I love planning family adventures and road trips. Looking forward to a great year at SMS!
