A little behind-the-scenes moment I'm incredibly proud of...

Today, Helping Seniors announced that we were selected to receive a significant grant that will help bring technology education and digital literacy resources to seniors throughout our community.
Many people know me as a Medicare broker, but what some may not know is that I also work behind the scenes as a nonprofit consultant and grant writer. I have the privilege of helping organizations secure funding that allows them to expand programs and better serve our community.

For this project, I had the honor of serving as the grant writer, helping turn a vision into a proposal that will now become a reality for local seniors. Seeing the announcement released today was incredibly rewarding not because of the grant itself, but because of the impact it will have on the lives of older adults who will gain access to technology, education, and resources that help them stay connected and independent.

Thank you to the entire@Helping Seniors team for believing in this vision and working tirelessly to support our senior community. The real success story is what comes next.

I can't wait to watch this program grow and see the difference it makes throughout Brevard County.

Helping Seniors and AARP (AARP Florida) - so excited to be taking our Senior Planet Senior Tech Talk programs to the next level through the construction of our technology library and classroom at the Senior Resource Center of Brevard!
