because literacy opens the brain to possibilities. it helps people imagine, process, think, and visualize something happening that hasn’t happened yet.

writing is how human beings build futures in their minds before they build them in the world.

they didn’t ban dancing.

they didn’t ban singing. they banned reading and writing.

that should tell you everything about which form of expression carries the most power.

for almost 6-7 years that model worked great -

now, the new model looks more like:

build audience.
build trust.
build distribution.
own the relationship.
monetize multiple ways.

the uncomfortable truth is that many creators never got past building the audience. content creators make content. media owners build assets.
