I would like to thank God for give me the idea to plan the HBCU Mega Football Camp. I would like to thank the HBCU coaches for believing in the vision. Thank you to the partnership with MSCIAA. I would like to Nike for their major contribution.I also would like to thank the 208 student athletes from all over the country that were there today.
Dear Parents and Student-Athletes,
We are excited to welcome you to the Inaugural HBCU Mega Football Camp! We currently have 148 students registered. Walk up are welcome
Camp Check-In Information
Check-in will begin at 8:00 AM, and camp activities will start promptly at 9:30 AM.
Upon arrival:
Pre-registered student-athletes should proceed to the Pre-Registered Check-In Line.
Student-athletes who have not registered in advance may register on-site by proceeding to the Walk-Up Registration Line.
During check-in, student-athletes will:
Receive their wristband
Have a parent or guardian sign the camp waiver
What to Wear
Student-athletes should arrive ready to compete wearing:
Athletic shirt
Shorts
Cleats
Please make sure your athlete gets a good night's sleep, stays hydrated, and comes prepared to work hard and showcase their skills in front of HBCU coaches and recruiters.
Athletic Testing and Measurements
Each student-athlete will participate in athletic testing, including:
Height
Weight
40-Yard Dash
20-Yard Shuttle
Broad Jump
All testing results and measurements will be entered directly into each student-athlete's recruiting portal using tablets during the camp. This information will be made available to participating college coaches to assist in their recruiting evaluations.
After testing and measurements are completed, HBCU coaches will lead student-athletes through multiple position-specific and competitive drills designed to evaluate their athletic ability, football skills, and overall performance.
