There is nothing more powerful than a well-trained and well-supported teacher.

In 2022, none of Jordan Johns' kindergarteners entered the year on grade level. By the end, 34% met grade-level expectations.

Fast forward to 2025: 72% of her students finished kindergarten on grade level.

Same teacher. Same school. What changed?

Read on to learn from MTR’s Dr. Emily Taubken.

Join us in welcoming Dr. Megan Salemi as MTR’s new Executive Director!

Megan has served as a highly capable and successful MTR staff member in various roles since 2013. We are grateful for - and confident in - her strong, humble, dedicated, and mission-minded work and leadership.

As we look ahead, we believe the best is yet to come.
