Celebrate Juneteenth in Soulsville! Join us this Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM at The Four Way as we honor Black excellence and community. The 926 SMA Alumni Band will take the stage at 1:00 PM.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, yoga mats, fans, and good vibes. The morning begins with wellness sessions, including yoga, Pilates, and line dancing. Spend the day enjoying live music, games, interactive activities, and more.

Summer at Soulsville is all about discovery! Through Culture City Camp, students are exploring Memphis museums, landmarks, and cultural spaces while learning about the people and careers that make these places possible. During a recent visit to Dixon Gallery and Gardens, campers got a behind-the-scenes look at the many roles that bring these spaces to life, from research and collections to education, guest services, and visitor experiences.

The more students we serve, the more young people grow up seeing themselves as part of the city's future, not bystanders to it. Your support removes financial barriers that could otherwise keep a student from accessing transportation, materials, and instruction.

Lights, camera, music!

Our Stax Music Academy Summer Music Experience students had an amazing time participating in the “Do Re Mi” music video with Snooknuk! From singing and dancing to bringing their creativity and energy on set, our students embraced every moment of this exciting opportunity.

Experiences like these allow students to learn, grow, and connect with artists while showcasing their own talents. We are so proud of their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the day!

Students had the opportunity to learn about the rich history of soul music, explore the legacy of Stax Records, and see firsthand how music has shaped our community and culture.
