From the classroom to the skies! ✈️🔧

Our Mechanical and Electrical Engineering students traveled to Dallas, TX to compete in the SAE AERO Design Competition, designing, building, and flying an unmanned aircraft against teams from universities across the country.

Thank you to faculty mentors Dr. Deepa Kodali and Dr. Eric Welch for guiding our students every step of the way. This is what CBU engineers do.

🏆 Congratulations to CBU's American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Student Chapter!

On April 10–12, our students competed at the Mid-South Symposium against 14 universities across Tennessee and Arkansas, and they delivered.

CBU brought home the hardware:
🥈 2nd Place – Geo-bucket Competition
🥈 2nd Place – Environmental Competition
🥇 1st Place – Land Surveying Competition

That 1st place finish in Land Surveying earns CBU a spot in the National Land Surveying Competition this summer! 🎉
