Wynner’s Academy
Empowering students & small business owners with hands-on education and leadership.
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our inaugural Juneteenth Showcase!
Today was more than an event—it was a celebration of culture, entrepreneurship, leadership, and the bright future of our youth. We are beyond proud of every Wynners Academy student who stepped up, shared their ideas, and showcased everything they have learned.
To our families, sponsors, volunteers, mentors, and community partners, thank you for believing in our mission and pouring into the next generation. Your support made this day possible.
This is just the beginning. The future is in great hands. ❤️
Wynner's Academy is glad to give a voice to all of our students through leadership courses, presentations, and hands-on activities that encourage collaboration. We strive to create an environment that fosters learning and critical thought. And we're always glad to hear what our students have to say.

Wynners Academy students had the privilege of learning from Mrs. Rasie Dobbins Turner, Vice President of Oteka Technologies, entrepreneur, real estate developer, and community advocate.
Mrs. Dobbins Turner shared her career journey and offered valuable insight on leadership, professional growth, and creating opportunities through preparation, persistence, and confidence. Students gained a deeper understanding of how skills, relationships, and continuous learning can open doors across multiple career pathways.
A key message from her presentation was that students do not need to have their entire future mapped out right now. Success is built one step at a time through intentional decisions, personal growth, and a willingness to embrace new opportunities.
Mrs. Dobbins Turner challenged students to:
• Set one goal for next year
• Find one mentor
• Learn one new skill
• Read one book
• Take one opportunity that scares you
These practical challenges encouraged students to think critically about their future and identify actions they can begin taking now to move closer to their goals.
At Wynners Academy, we believe exposure creates opportunity. By connecting students with accomplished professionals from a variety of industries, we help them explore career possibilities, build confidence, and develop the skills needed for long term success.
Thank you, Mrs. Rasie Dobbins Turner, for investing in our students and inspiring them to take ownership of their future, pursue excellence, and continue growing both personally and professionally.
Week 2 of Wynner's Academy camp is complete!

Big thank you to the sponsor of the week: Percy P's Plates! We really appreciate your support- we couldn't do it without you.
