Congratulations to Mesa Public Schools Director of School Safety and Security Al Moore on receiving the Arizona School Resource Officers Association (ASROA) Lifetime Achievement Award.
Originally nominated for the 2026 School Safety Advocate of the Year Award, ASROA determined that Al's decades of leadership, innovation and service deserved an even greater honor.
"After reviewing the outstanding nominations submitted on your behalf for the 2026 ASROA School Safety Advocate of the Year Award, it became very clear to our board that your decades of leadership, innovation, and service have had a far greater impact than could be captured in a single-year recognition."
Thank you, Al, for your unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of our students, staff and community. This recognition is a testament to the lasting impact you have made across Arizona and Mesa Public Schools.
