☀️ Can you help us bring shade to our school garden?

We're looking for a generous volunteer to donate their time and materials to install shade sails in the classroom space of the Shaw Elementary school garden! 🌱

The good news — we already have the shade sails and hooks ready to go. We just need a skilled hand to make it happen!

📅 Our next Garden Workday is June 27th — the perfect opportunity to get this done alongside our community.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who have come out to help revamp Shaw Elementary's Garden & Outdoor Classroom! 🌱💚

We have already accomplished so much together. Special thanks to our principal, Dr. Garcia, for getting us started by clearing the overgrown w**ds. Since then, our amazing volunteers have worked hard laying down cardboard, w**d barrier, and mulch to help prevent future w**d growth and prepare the space for learning.

This project is truly becoming a reality because of the dedication and support of our school community. We still have more work to do, and we would love your help!

Can't stay all day? No worries! We welcome volunteers for as little as a **2-hour shift**. Every helping hand makes a difference!

This garden will provide our students with opportunities for hands-on learning, exploration, and growth for years to come. Whether you're a parent, community member, business partner, or friend of Shaw Elementary, we'd love to have you join us.
