🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸
Each morning, our 5th graders proudly lead our Flag Salute, raising the American flag with care and respect. Early in the year, they learn proper flag etiquette, including how to handle, fold, and care for the flag with honor.
Today, as we celebrate Flag Day, we recognize the importance of this tradition and the responsibility our students embrace as they help uphold it each day. ❤️🤍💙

⭐ Celebrating our Faculty Milestones ⭐
Another school year has come to a close, and we are so grateful for the faculty and staff whose dedication, care, and commitment help make our school such a special place. Today, we celebrate those reaching milestone years of service and thank them for the countless ways they have enriched our students' lives and strengthened our community.

Third graders have been studying bridges with Mrs. Lopez. They learned about the different types of bridges and how they’re designed to bear loads. Mrs. Lopez challenged students to build their own, incorporating skills like measurement, geometry, planning, design, collaboration, communication, and resilience. Today, students had their final test to see if their bridges would hold 2 kilograms!

Countdown to Graduation is on! This week we will spotlight our Class of 2026 grads with some memories of their journey at SSEDS. Join us in congratulating Luciana, Valeria, Elias, and Grace!

This morning we recognized our Accelerated Reader Point Clubs and Annual Top Point Recipient. Congratulations to all of these outstanding readers!
