EL CAMINO 2026 — Una travesía para descubrir los derechos humanos: de Oviedo a Santiago de Compostela

Este 2026 volveremos a recorrer el Camino Primitivo. Seremos 15 peregrinos caminando entre Asturias y Galicia y visitando las 30 placas de la Ruta de los Derechos Humanos, distribuidas a lo largo del Camino y dedicadas a los 30 artículos de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos.

Más que una peregrinación, será un recorrido por la dignidad, la libertad y los valores universales que nos unen.

Nuestro agradecimiento de siempre a todas las personas e instituciones que hacen posible esta ruta: autoridades, ayuntamientos, comunidades locales, hoteles, albergues, vecinos, amigos y colaboradores que nos reciben, nos acompañan y mantienen vivo este hermoso proyecto.

🕊️🤍🛤️ Desde International Solidarity for Human Rights lamentamos profundamente la partida de Eustaquio Revilla, alcalde de Grandas de Salime, maestro, amigo y generoso colaborador de la Ruta de los Derechos Humanos en el Camino Primitivo.

Eustaquio entendió algo esencial: que los derechos humanos también se siembran en los pueblos, en las aulas, en los caminos y en la manera humilde y constante de servir a los demás.

Acompañamos con afecto a su familia, al Ayuntamiento y a todo el pueblo de Grandas de Salime. Su memoria queda unida a la gratitud de quienes encontramos en él una mano abierta y un corazón dispuesto.

✨🤝🌎 On Workers’ Day, let us remember that work is not only a means of survival: it is dignity, a life project, and a human right. Every person deserves fair conditions, a sufficient wage, respect, safety, and the real possibility of building a future through their own effort. To honor workers is to defend a society where living from one’s work is not a privilege, but a guarantee.

✨🤝🌎 En el Día del Trabajador, recordemos que el trabajo no es solo sustento: es dignidad, proyecto de vida y derecho humano. Todo ser humano merece condiciones justas, salario suficiente, respeto, seguridad y la posibilidad real de construir futuro con su esfuerzo. Honrar a los trabajadores es defender una sociedad donde vivir del propio trabajo no sea un privilegio, sino una garantía.

🇺🇳 🇺🇸 "The drafters of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights extensively reviewed approximately 50 contemporary constitutions to ensure the comprehensive inclusion of rights from diverse cultures and nations. Notably, the influence of the United States Declaration of Independence and the Four Freedoms proclaimed by U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt in 1941 was significant. President Roosevelt defined essential human freedoms as freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear, explaining that 'freedom means the supremacy of human rights everywhere.' These principles served as great inspiration for the UDHR's provisions. However, it's essential to recognize that while the UDHR was influenced by documents like the United States Declaration of Independence and the Four Freedoms, it transcends any single national or cultural tradition, aiming to articulate fundamental human rights that apply to all people regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, or background."
