Eva Marques-Verdecia, Class of 2028, is spending her summer making a difference as a student teacher/counselor with the Florida International University Children & Families Center’s STP-K program.

Through her work with young children in special education, fundraising efforts, and shadowing Speech and Language Pathologists, Eva is gaining valuable hands-on experience while giving back to a program that has positively impacted her for the past three years.

We are proud to see our Royals leading through service, compassion, and dedication.

Whether on campus or across the state, our students are always 👑, seeking opportunities to lead, serve, and make a difference.

Emma Gonzalez, Class of 2027, traveled to Orlando to attend her first Florida District Key Club International Conference as the Kiwanis Family & Education Chair for the district.

Joining student leaders and advisors from across the state, Emma participated in a weekend dedicated to leadership, service, collaboration, and growth. Opportunities like these allow our Royals to expand their impact beyond campus while bringing valuable experiences back to our school community.

Our Royals are always making their mark and representing ILS with pride. 👑

Rising seniors Azul Chalela, Carlota Beltran, and Brian Ramirez-Lillo participated in Kaufman Rossin’s Mini Jumpstart program where they were able to network with students from other local high schools and hear from accountants and professionals in other departments about their journeys, roles, and responsibilities while also learning about this amazing and successful firm!

“Mu Luncha Buncha” from the Class of 1994 recently reunited in the Florida Keys to celebrate a major milestone—turning 50 together!

Decades after walking the halls of Immaculata-La Salle together, they’re still making memories, sharing laughs, and proving that the Royal bond never fades.

Once a Royal, always a Royal. 💚💛

This summer, Cauê Sá, incoming Class of 2030, is staying busy competing in the National Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship.

During his summer break he’s on the mat putting his hard work and dedication into action. 🥋💙

Isabella Abreu (Class of 2027) and Daniel Auza (Class of 2027) put their passion project, Hats of Love, into action. They visited the Sylvester Cancer Center to distribute beanies to cancer patients undergoing treatment, offering warmth, comfort, and encouragement during a challenging time.

Through this meaningful act of service, Isabella and Daniel are making a difference by bringing hope and kindness to individuals and families affected by cancer. We are proud to see our Royals using their talents and compassion to positively impact their community. 💙🎗️
