Happy National Mascot Day to the one and only Waldo the Wolverine!
Waldo does more than lead the crowd—he brings our brotherhood together and keeps the Belen spirit alive in everything we do.
Shout out to Waldo's friends who have come to campus with their energy, too: Burnie, Sebastian, and Billy the Marlin!

Yesterday, our students in Sevilla explored three incredible pillars of faith, architecture, and tradition: the Cathedral of Sevilla, San Juan de los Franceses (a former Jesuit church and novitiate), and the Basilica of La Macarena. Their visit to these sacred places was a reminder of how beauty, art, and history enrich our faith.

Today, the group in Spain visited Colegio Portaceli, the Jesuit school in Sevilla. It was wonderful to see how our shared Jesuit values and faith connect both schools, and our students enjoyed the opportunity to interact with one another. A huge thank you to Padre David and the faculty for their warm welcome. The group then spent the afternoon exploring la Torre del Oro and la Plaza de España, and ended the night watching Spain play in the World Cup. It was another amazing day in Sevilla!

Today, the students on the Cultural and Linguistic Immersion Program did a walking tour through el Barrio de Triana, which was especially meaningful since Sr. Pérez-González grew up in this neighborhood. They then enjoyed spending the afternoon outdoors, playing soccer at el Parque Magallanes and kayaking on the Río Guadalquivir.
