Today, our Spartan community came together in pink to honor the life and legacy of Juliette Fulton, a beloved member of MCDS whose kindness, strength, and love touched us all. Her impact on our students and community will never be forgotten.
In celebration of Haitian Flag Day, our students experienced the power of culture through story, rhythm, and community. 🇭🇹
Middle School welcomed Inez Barlatier, a Miami-based Haitian American multidisciplinary artist and educator, for an interactive performance inspired by her show AYITI: Stories & Songs from Haiti. Upper School students heard from Mecca Grimo Marcelin in a presentation that included drumming, video, and reflection.
These moments help our students learn from one another, honor heritage, and celebrate the many cultures that make our community stronger.
