From the halls of Miami Northwestern to transforming schools across Miami-Dade County, Valencia Woodbine continues to lead with purpose, passion, and excellence. 💙💛🐂

A proud member of Miami Northwestern’s Class of 2004, Valencia has dedicated more than 16 years to empowering students and advancing educational equity throughout Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Beginning her career in Title I schools, she committed herself to supporting underserved communities and creating opportunities for academic success. Returning to her alma mater as an educator became a powerful full-circle moment — allowing her to pour back into the very community that helped shape her journey. 👏🏾📚✨

Through leadership roles at Miami Northwestern, Miami Norland Senior High, the Education Transformation Office, and now as Assistant Principal, Valencia has consistently championed literacy, data-driven instruction, and student achievement. One of her proudest accomplishments includes helping guide Miami Edison Senior High School to its FIRST-EVER “A” school grade — a historic milestone rooted in collaboration, vision, and strong instructional leadership. 🌟

A graduate of Florida A&M University and Barry University, Valencia is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Education at Nova Southeastern University while continuing to inspire students, educators, and communities through her dedication to service and excellence.

Grounded in gratitude and driven by purpose, Valencia proudly carries forward the royal blue and old gold legacy everywhere she goes.
