Karitsa Mosley, Administrator of the Dept. of Early Learning with the City of Chattanooga, is not only a member of our Future Fund Advisory -- she is also a consistent community champion for the Future Fund. So much so, in fact, that she asked for a Future Fund yard sign to make sure each of her neighbors passing by know about their students’ free, community-supported savings for their future!

We had a great time at the Creative Discovery Museum’s Kindergarten Readiness event with our Chattanooga 2.0/Future Fund team (ft. our HCS friends)!

We loved connecting with families, sharing tips for this exciting next step, and highlighting the amazing early childhood resources available through our community partners.

Our Future Fund team had a packed & exciting time at Hamilton County Schools' "Get Future Ready" days, talking with 7th graders about the Chattanooga Future Fund and all of the possibilities ahead! The future is bright for our students, and we loved being able to be part of the conversation! 🎓✨

With the time change comes the perfect reminder: now is the time to activate your student’s Chattanooga Future Fund account. Through the Future Fund, every eligible kindergarten, 1st, 6th, 7th, 8th, & 9th grade student in Hamilton County Schools receives up to $150 in a career and college savings account, plus opportunities to earn even more over time. This initiative is led by Chattanooga 2.0 with support from partners across our community—all working toward brighter futures for our students.

Future Fund donors, Junell and Roger Scheeres, joined Ivy Academy and Skillern Elementary's "Yeti Fest", sharing in the holiday joy with families and announcing an exciting surprise — an additional contribution for Soddy Daisy area kindergarten and 8th grade students!

This gift from the Scheeres comes from a deep love for their community. After moving to Soddy Daisy, the Scheeres quickly felt at home and wanted to invest in the students and schools that make this area so special!
