Day 2 of Art Explosion was filled with creativity and sunshine!

It was a beautiful day to get outside as our campers explored nature, found inspiration in the world around them, and spent time coloring and creating outdoors. They also got their hands messy with clay projects, turning their ideas into unique works of art.

We loved seeing their creativity shine and can't wait for another day of artistic adventures today!

What a colorful start to our Art Explosion week!

Today our campers created beautiful coffee filter butterflies, designed colorful circle art inspired by Kandinsky, and completed creative side quests with a variety of art projects and challenges.

The room was filled with imagination, creativity, and lots of smiles. We can't wait to see what our artists create tomorrow!

Unleash your inner artist during Week 2 of summer camp at Beacon!

Art Explosion is a high-energy week dedicated to color, texture, and pure creativity. Our campers will move beyond basic crafts to explore professional techniques including: textiles, tye dye, mixed media, messy art, indoor/outdoor crafting and more!

We provide all the professional supplies and the space to get messy. Our small group sizes ensure every student gets the guidance they need to create something they are proud of.

We had another great day at Adventure Awaits Camp yesterday!
Even though the weather kept us indoors for much of the day, our campers didn't let the rain slow down the fun. We traveled to Egypt and the jungle as we learned about pyramids, pharaohs, and amazing jungle animals. Through hands-on activities, crafts, and games, campers explored new places and had fun learning along the way.
We love seeing their creativity, curiosity, and excitement as they take on each new adventure. Thank you for sharing your campers with us—we're having a wonderful week together!

Day 2 of Adventure Awaits Camp!
Yesterday, our campers stamped their passports and traveled to Australia, Japan, and Brazil for a day full of learning and fun.
In Australia, we learned about some of the country's amazing animals, including kangaroos, koalas, and other unique wildlife.
In Japan, campers practiced their folding skills by creating their own origami airplanes and learned about the art of origami.
In Brazil, we got moving as we learned some samba dance steps and experienced a little of Brazil's vibrant culture and energy.
It was wonderful to see our campers trying new things, learning about different cultures, and having so much fun together. We can't wait to continue our adventures around the world!

What a wonderful start to our summer camp week! Yesterday, our campers began their journey around the world by creating passports, making new friends, and preparing for a week full of adventure and discovery.
We loved seeing their excitement as they jumped into activities, shared laughs, and embraced the spirit of exploration. The energy, creativity, and curiosity they brought on Day 1 made for an incredible start to the week!

Summer Camp WEEK 1 (June 8th-11th) is Adventure Awaits. This dynamic week is designed to get campers (ages 5-14) outside and working together.

We will be challenging them with:
- Scavenger Hunts: Navigating our secure Woodlake grounds to find hidden clues.
- Survival Skills: Learning essential outdoor techniques like basic shelter building and knot tying.
- Trail Markers: Understanding navigation and creating their own path.
- Obstacle Courses: Building coordination and confidence through physical challenges.
- Team Challenges: Developing leadership and collaboration through collaborative problem-solving.

This is the perfect week for high-energy kids who love the outdoors and want to start their summer with active, structured fun. Our low teacher-to-student ratios ensure everyone is engaged and supervised.

We’re closing out our summer with a week of heart and purpose. Friendship & Leadership Week focuses on the skills that help kids thrive in community.
